The current Member Guidelines state that member health status does not affect membership eligibility, while sharing limits may apply to some pre-membership medical conditions. The published phase-in is $0 in year one, up to $25,000 in year two, up to $50,000 in year three, and up to $125,000 in each membership year after reaching year four. Joining and having every related expense immediately eligible for sharing are separate questions.
